A couple of months back

Matcha for me.

Munching on the long bus ride from Narita to Tokyo.

Group shot!

Full OOTD.

Some random concoction by the waiter.

Deep fried pig intestine! Actually tasted better than I had expected.

Tako ballz!

Look how small the fishies are, same size as my pinky finger!

Convenient store in the subway itself!

Taking the subway.

Jumping for joy cos we finally got here after hours.

Night fall.

Ramen place.

Dinner is served!

So confusing!

Met the nicest Japanese lady that helped us figure our way back.

Fav purchase!

Impromptu decision to head to Tokyo with the group!

Didn't really had much time to explore because we spent most of the time trying to figure out how to get to one of my colleague's cousin's place in Tokyo to hand her some stuff for her newborn, but the address was left on the bus & didn't have wifi to search or have any means to contact her (no phone number, nothing!). Had to walk around holding our phones out & kept refreshing for free wifi and the people were not that helpful when we approached them to tap onto their wifi.

Finally met a kind soul that understood our intentions when we walked into Starbucks & saw a lady typing on her laptop in English and she agreed to let us tap into her wifi, which was how we eventually found the cousin's place before really exploring Tokyo itself!

Snacked at the eatery downstairs while waiting for the cousins to catch up with each other. The food was delicious! Even the deep fried pig intestine that didn't sound appetizing!

We then carried on to the heart of Tokyo to explore a lil, grab dinner at a ramen eatery & decided to head back to rest for work the next morning. But guess what! The train master said there weren't any trains left to head back and we were about 1/1.5 hours away from our hotel?! That's when we started panicking and walking around with our phones held up (yet again) in hopes of having a wifi signal.

Managed to contact my Japanese colleague for help whilst the rest of them managed to get directions from a Japanese passerby who used her phone to translate and give us directions. Thank goodness we managed to get back and catch the last shuttle bus from the airport to our hotel!
